Modules

  • Cameras:

    • PTZ robotic camera: Panasonic HCM280 network camera

    • Wide angle camera

     

  • Motion detector: Windows XP

    • Motion detector (W1): detect moving animals and send direction data to CONE server.

  • CONE Server: Mandrake 10.1 (telerobot.cs.tamu.edu)

    • Panorama generation (C1): reconstruct panorama in period. (Daemon program in C++)

    • Streaming server (C2): relay server in front of embedded camera video server. (Daemon server listening at port 12345, implemented in C)

    • Frame selection and camera driver (C3): compute optimized frame selection solution and drive PTZ camera to computed PTZ pose. (Daemon program in C)

    • Console/Log monitor (C4):  monitor the share memory data. (Daemon program implemented in C++)

    • Sensor request handler (C5): accept frame selection request from motion detector. (Daemon server listening at port 20011,implemented in C)

    • Core (with shared memory segments) (C6): manage user status (active/timeout) in the share memory. (Daemon program in C++)

    • Client request CGI (C7): accept frame selection request from clients. (CGI program implemented in C)

    • Login CGI (C8): authenticate user login. (CGI program implemented in C)

    • Registration CGI (C9): register new user. (CGI program implemented in perl)

    • Database (C10): mysql database

     

  • User: Any operating system supporting JAVA runtime environment

    • CONE Java applet (U1): CONE user interface (JAVA applet)
